Lotus Leaf

Inspired by the green lotus leaves floating on ponds, muddy swamps, and marshlands, Lotus Leaf is part of the "Knotions - Invitation Only" issue launched today.

The design mimics the reticulate venation of the lotus leaf. The gradual increases that are shaped like the lotus leaf, that almost closes in to form an open, slit circle.

The design is versatile in that you can wear it as a capelet, a shoulder wrap, a shawl, or a short skirt.

Knit in Ganga Acrowools Heartbeats Merino Pure in the fabulous green shade, the design features a breezy lace pattern, providing amazing drape and movement.

Why makers love Apoorva Designs

Thank you for the completely written instructions for the lace as well as a chart. It guarantees that I’ll be able to make this pattern. Also, I think it will be a great aid for learning to use a chart.

RHONDA

Beautiful shawl, and great to see the accessible aspects of the pattern.

SIOBHAN

What a perfect interpretation of a peacock feather, right down to the shape and of course colors.
